Today we said goodbye to a Dear Friend

Mr Bernie Forbes has been a real friend to me for decades and today I joined his family & Island friends to say ... safe travels, Bernie and one day will see you on the other side.
I spoke to him very recently recently via telephone. With the help of his dear wife and family he was able to call most of his friends and bid them farewell.  Thats something one doesn't always have the chance to do .
Todays blog is Dedicated to this Great man who spent his life observing nature and working tirelessly to ensure that there will always be places for waterfowl  and many other creatures to nest and raise their young in Saskatchewan. 
Thank you, Bernie for being a true and dear friend.. Thank you for your stories , your gift of passing along knowledge  and your kindness to me.....
