 Rufous Hummingbird (male in bright breeding plumage)  Native Vancouver Island Red Squirrel .. deep coloration  Female Anna's Hummingbird  Pine Siskin pauses upside down while feeding on plum blossom nectar  Cottontail Rabbit (visitor from the East) Male Downey Woodpecker  It was a terrific morning outing to photograph the Teal and a few other passing by birds like Sidney's own Buffleheads (who put on quite a show) Thanks to my friend Sheri and her awesome family for guiding me to this beautiful spot! Also thank you to the several people walking and driving past who stopped to chat .. What a treat! Cheers to everyone ...
