Little Eagle has been with me each day since last June when I first began following his unusual story. Easch time I go down the highway and see a Red Tail Hawk, my mind bolts into LittleEagle mode and I wonder if this might be that same bird.
Last evening I was back looking for the Snow geese (but they have moved on.. Its a long way to N Siberia  so I guess they needed to leave) and as I scanned the hillside, a large bird landed on a pole right beside me. I thought for sure he would be gone as soon as I started shooting photos, but this bird was not afraid. He allowed me to walk completely around and get shots from all the best angles, then after what seemed like 20 minutes finally slid off the pole and gracefully sailed across the fields.. LittleEagle or not, I have been forever changed by his gifts...
