Happy Monday Morning... out on a limb!

Well, the Sunday rain finally subsided and gave way to a misty overcast morn.. As I got to "The Nest"  immediately I saw our favourite little Hawklet sitting alone out on a limb.  I just missed clicking on him doing some serious stretches, but did spend several hours observing.  At about 8AM he began crying loudly and one of the adult Eagles who was perched nearby came over and sat beside him.. This seemed to comfort the little creature.
I met a host of people  today at the site and want to thank the local residents for their extreme patience and kindness shown to a group of strangers who have literally descended into their neighbourhood to see this oddity of Nature unfold.

PS.. Yes..I will print more greeting cards and bring them along next time (Perhaps this evening)
