Last spring I put out brushed fur from Gracye, our Wheaten Terrier as a test to see if the hummingbirds might use it for nest building. Its downy soft and fine as lambs wool! The Anna's females have taken advantage of the soft dog wool, but no images yet this season.
Today however, the Chickadee's came back again and again to grab beakfulls of this stuff.
What fun to watch thie antics as they jostle with it , then fly off!
Happy Easter to everyone... Terry :)
