Orcas graced our beautiful Bay Aug 18th 2026 around 7PM ... What a treat!

Above photo is a Nighthawk zooming in on a flying insect.  A group of these birds  (15-20) appeared suddenly (last week of July) over the bay and entertained me with their aerobatic skills for close to an hour.  Quite a challenge to get photos at a distance and with their zig-zag flights at great speed!

                          One might say I have a fascination with Herons .... Amazing birds and so interesting to observe!
